Im waiting for the seeds to pop up

I planted after I received them in starter pots . I am waiting for them to pop up and get them in my Garden. We have a long growing season in NC so I am hope full. I will let you know. I could not locate any plants so I had to try the seed, My favorite egg plant along with black beauty.

Propagated one seed to see if it would germinate. and if it is, indeed an Ichiban. Too late for the eggplant to produce this season I suspect but I know what an Ichiban leaf looks like so I am ready for next year. Have had poor luck with nurseries saying something is Ichiban when it isn't. Seed germinated great and I am looking forward to a real good eggplant when it produces. Thank you

Just received seeds

Seeds arrived in good shape, beautiful packaging. They won't be started for about 3 months, so I'll have to let you know later. I've had trouble finding Ichiban seeds, so I ordered them immediately when I saw them here.

Long sprouts

All the seeds germinated using jiffy pots. After placing under grow light placed at 4 inches above the sprouts continued to get leggy. Might be I'm doing something wrong but the seeds do grow well.

Seeds are in the jiffy sprouters. Will let you know when harvested. Would like to know if hybridized or heritage. Thank you.
