These cucumbers are very mild and still are tasty as a cucumber should be.
The seeds are very small, even in the more mature fruit. These cucumbers are more tasty than the burgess type. They don't cause any problems with my or my wife's stomach. We don't pickle them because they are so good that we eat them rather quickly. We do slice them into vinegar for eating at meals and on cucumber sandwiches. I like mine fresh in a sandwich with mayo and salt and pepper. You need to pick them when the fruit is about three to five inches long. Your seeds germinate very well; few are lost.

My whole family likes this kind of cucumber, we do not pickle them just mainly eat them. They are a little touchy to grow but the taste is so good.
